I’ve got three posts in my head on the following topics:
1. The chili I made last week and am still enjoying. (Guess I should freeze it…)
2. The baking I did yesterday (Sunday).
3. My new recipe organization project.
Posting my Twitter updates is a cop out, I know. It’s easier to post 140 character messages when I think of them. I realize that this is possibly annoying to the reader. I can’t even use being sick and busy as excuses. Sure, I’ve had a cold for the last week. Sure, I’ve been busy at work (3 days until the Ontario Budget is delivered in the Legislature), and in theory prepping for my krav maga Practitioner Level 1 test (in actuality being sick has kept me from two practices, one of which was a run through of the test that I may now back out of). Not really valid excuses but excuses nonetheless.
That said, there’s a post of links coming shortly, and the three over the next few days.
In the meantime, here’s some other recently discovered blogs & websites for you to check out:
- Ask a Chef in Training: A brand new blog written by an old high school friend who I haven’t seen since he was a punk-ass 18 year old know it all. I look forward to the new blog and learning something from it.
- Skinny Chef: I just came across it because Jennifer is now writing for Slashfood.
- Meghan Telpner’s website and blog: I came across it because she writes for the National Post’s food & drink blog. I’m surprised that she wasn’t on my radar previously, because I know her brother. (If he’s reading: You’d be a better brother if you’d sporadically plug your sibling’s company like I do mine.
Where’s the shameless promotion on Facebook?)
Onward…
