
Food Day Canada, originally the World’s Longest BBQ, was founded to support local farmers during the BSE (mad-cow disease) crisis of 2003. It has evolved into a network of local celebrations, aimed at encouraging people to think about the importance of food and community.
Food Day Canada is the largest locavore event in Canadian history.
