Anything you can do, I can do better: Girls lick boys on taste sensations: Study. Put that in the next remount of Annie Get Your Gun. Flashback: I performed a version in elementary school. Every kid in the class was in it, 25 or so kids in a Hebrew day school performing Irving Berlin songs – it fit, and there’s no business like show business. I remember some of the lyrics of the song “Anything you can do, I can do better”.
Scientists set on busting the sugar-hyperactivity ‘myth’. I say, screw them. Anecdotal evidence is enough for me. And who’s funding these studies? Redpath? Tate & Lyle?
Burger King has released a meat-scented body spray called “Flame”. I’ve seen this around the web. Huffington Post has piece on it, but I first saw it on Serious Eats blog A Hamburger Today in two posts. Why would someone want to smell like a fake Whopper? I imagine that it might have some use for training dogs. (Or men?)
Celebrate Winter Solstice With Yuzu In The Bath. The only reason I stopped to read this is that my favourite place to go for manicures and pedicures ($35 for mani/pedi combo, free bottled water, massage chairs and nail dryers with air and infra red heat) uses sliced limes in their soaking water, then they rub it on the hands or feet. It smells nice and and has a decadent quality. Sometimes I go elsewhere when I don’t feel like the 20 minute walk (uphill) but it’s not the same.

I have a couple of other future blog posts in my mind: One about an episode of Top Chef from two weeks ago, and the one that will have to follow tomorrow’s family chanukah meal. My aunt makes the best latkes.
Thanks to Taste T.O. for linking to my blog. Again. Now that pressure is on for me to update more often and improve the content. It was so easy when I thought that no one was reading.
